FIND YOUR FLOW

An invitation to make, notice and return to your creative flow.

Find Your Flow is a three day, live artmaking immersion with me, Ekta Kaul- artist, author, educator and founder of Inner Thread Circle.

Created for the quiet threshold of January, this is an invitation to slow down rather than push forward - to work with your hands in a way that feels nourishing, attentive and alive.

There are no shoulds here.
No templates to follow.
No restrictive rules.

Just play.
Just presence.
Just following where your curiosity leads.

We'll work gently with cloth and needle- allowing ideas to emerge through making, rather than forcing them- and letting the rhythm of slow stitches set the tone for the year ahead.

This space is for everyone who loves to work with cloth and thread :
quilters, embroiderers, stitchers, dabblers, the experienced and everyone in between.

WHAT IS IT

Find Your Flow is a three-day, live artmaking immersion — time set aside to work slowly and attentively with cloth and thread, in the company of others.

Across the three days, we’ll move through a gentle arc: beginning by settling into materials and presence, then opening into curiosity and play,
and finally taking time to reflect on what has emerged and how to carry that way of working forward.

There is no pressure to arrive with a plan or to finish a piece. The emphasis is on presence, process, and on creating the conditions for clarity, confidence, and renewed creative energy to surface naturally.

This experience also offers a gentle introduction to Inner Thread Circle, my ongoing membership for people who work with cloth and thread — giving you a feel for the pace, values, and quality of attention that shape that space, so you can sense whether it feels right for you.

WHY NOW

At the threshold of a new year, many of us don’t feel ready to surge forward with fresh goals and momentum. Instead, we may be arriving more slowly — our bodies still attuned to winter rhythms, craving warmth, gentle ritual, and mindful activity.

In an increasingly noisy world of shortened attention spans and lengthening digital lives, Find Your Flow is a timely invitation to return to tactility, to slow the pace, and to reconnect with the simple pleasure of working with our hands.

This is an opportunity to begin the year with something meaningful, inspiring, and grounding — and to let that set the tone for the months ahead.

.

This is for anyone who's looking to rekindle their creativity, find more time for play and mindfulness and a connection with kindreds.

About Ekta Kaul

Hello, I’m Ekta Kaul—an artist, author, educator and mum of two. I grew up in India and have lived in the UK for the last 20 years. I work from a studio nestled in an apple orchard and redwood lined grounds on the fringes of West London. My work focuses on creating narrative maps that explore themes of place, history, and belonging, using fiber and paint as my mediums.

MY STORY

Coming from a family of academics in India, where science and scholarship were the norm, I broke the mould when I chose to pursue a career in the creative arts. This decision led me thousands of miles from home to the UK, to puruse my Mastes in Textiles. Here, I began my creative journey from absolute scratch. Step by tiny step, I built a thriving artistic practice—one that combines my love of artmaking with my passion for empowering other women.

Today, my works are exhibited and collected internationally, including by prominent public and private institutions such as: Museum of London, Morgan Stanley, Crafts Council London,Liberty of London, Gunnersbury Museum, Tatter Blue Library (USA)

I’ve had the honor of speaking at the British Parliament, lecturing at world-class institutions like the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and Kettle’s Yard, Cambridhe and receiving awards such as the 2021 Cockpit Arts Textile Prize. My work has been featured in Financial Times, Vogue, Selvedge, Embroidery Magazine, and more.

How does it work?

We’ll explore the creative process together over three art-filled days — a shared, live experience designed to gently reawaken your creative flow. Think of it as gifting yourself a small pocket of time for creativity, connection, and inspiration.

We’ll gather live on Zoom at 7pm GMT on:
Wed 21 January
Thur 22 January
Frid 23 January

Each session will be around an hour long.

Before each session, you’ll receive a short email with a simple prompt and the Zoom link. You’re welcome to join from anywhere in the world — this space is open to all who are creatively curious, with or without prior experience.

All links and details will be shared exclusively with those who enrol. If you’re unable to attend live on any day, you’ll have access to the session recordings to watch in your own time. Recordings will be available until 8 February 2026

I will also create a private group on Facebook- think of it as a vibrant studio where all of us can hangout, share work and ask questions. It's not mandatory to join it, but it will certainly enhance your learning experience and offer an opportunity to be part of our community.

I will be sharing details about my membership Inner Thread Circle and opening doors for enrolment.
