Hello! Hope you had a lovely August. I just returned to London from Yorkshire after seeing the staggeringly beautiful work of Sheila Hicks- one of my favourite artists. ‘Off Grid’ is the first major retrospective of Hick’s in the UK, currently showing at Hepworth Wakefield. I loved her investigations of colour and form, whether it was floating calligraphy-like forms or the monumental sculptures or the intimate scale weaves. I encourage you to visit if you can, the exhibition is on till 25 Sept.
